State Association Services
NSBA was created by state school boards associations in 1940 to provide a federal presence for local school boards. Today, NSBA serves its state school boards associations through a variety of programs and services. Our department works in partnership with the state associations to strengthen school governance and the leadership of school board members nationwide.
It includes several key departments that provide valuable programs and services to the State Associations. They include:
